Lift system for tractor
The present invention relates to a lift system for compact mounting of implements, especially in the form of front tanks, on a tractor or similar vehicle.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Front tanks in the form of both round and square containers for mounting on tractors are well known in the art. They are used for many different purposes and can be designed in many different ways, such as, for example, pallet tanks mounted on forks, and plastic tanks for chemicals, etc.
Such tanks may be mounted or suspended in a lift mounted, for example, on the front of the tractor. The lift-mounted tanks have the advantage of being able to be mounted and dismounted quickly and easily by raising and lowering the container. A similar advantage is also found partly on tractors with hydraulically sprung front axle that can be raised and lowered hydraulically. In contrast, when mounted in a lift on the tractor, a very advanced tank is obtained, which is unfortunate for the length of the vehicle, weight distribution, front axle load, road safety, etc.
Attempts have been made to mount the tank close to the tractor, which results in the top bar coming very close to the attachment on the tractor, so that the length of it is very short and / or you get an unfortunate drag angle which gives a great load of the lift on tractor. In addition, when lifting and lowering, the tank will rotate many degrees, which can cause problems with filling and emptying of the container, and the lighting of the beam will be affected by the position of the lift. Also, the hose connections will be subject to additional loads during rotation.
When parking, the implement should stand horizontally. The same problem also exists for rear-mounted lifts, for example, fertilizer spreaders must be mounted in parallel.

Brief description of the invention
It is an object of the present invention to provide a lift system for a tractor or similar vehicle which meets the aforementioned disadvantages of the prior art in the art.
The present invention relates to a lift system for a tractor or other vehicle, the lift system comprising a tool such as a front tank, one or more, preferably two, lift arms located below or near the lower part of the vehicle and rotatably mounted to both the vehicle and the lower part of the implement in such a way that the lift arms can be rotated in the vertical plane, and one or more top rods rotatably mounted in each of the top link brackets on the vehicle higher up than the lift arms and connected to the implement in such a way the top link points at which the top rods meet the implement can be displaced along a surface of the implement as the lift arms and the top rods are rotated in such a way that the implement is lifted or lowered relative to the vehicle.
Such a lifting system displaceable top link point means that with suitable control of lift arms and top rods it is possible with longer top rods than in the prior art to move the implement almost vertically up and down very close to the vehicle without rotating the implement, whereby a large part of the the above disadvantages of known solutions are avoided.
In one embodiment of the invention, the implement, for example, a tank, has a circular cross-section around which is mounted one or more belts in such a way that the belts can slide in their longitudinal direction around the implement and each of the belts is provided with a towing eye. , which is constituted by the one or more top bars.
A belt that can slide around a circular tank is a simple and reliable way to achieve the desired displacement of the top bar point.
DK 2017 00192 A1
In one embodiment of the invention, they are one or more belts made of a material which ensures a low friction between the belts and the tank.
Many plastics materials are suitable for forming strips which should be able to slip along a surface, since a low friction can often be achieved between a plastic band and the surface it should slide along.
In one embodiment of the invention, one or more belts are positioned and slid into each of their fixed mounting rings around the tank.
A fixed guide ring is a safe way to control such a sliding belt.
In one embodiment of the invention, they control one or more belts of the top bar mount on the tractor.
This is another suitable way to control such a sliding band.
In one embodiment of the invention, the implement has a non-circular cross-sectional shape, for example square, and one or more guide rings are mounted on or around the implement, in each of which guide rings are mounted a towing eye in such a way that the towing eye can slide along the guide ring. and where one or more top rods make up these wooden eyes.
Mounting guide rings on a non-circular tool allows the desired effect to be achieved with tools of all shapes.
In one embodiment of the invention, one or more guide rings extend all the way around the tank.
If the guide rings extend all the way around the implement, bands can be used in the same way as for a circular implement as described above.
DK 2017 00192 A1
In one embodiment of the invention, one or more guide rings extend only slightly out of the way around the tank, being designed as profiles with a curvature similar to the path the towing eyes wish to follow as the tank is lifted or lowered relative to the vehicle.
Guide rings that do not extend all the way around the implement are less bulky than rings that do.
In one embodiment of the invention, the implement is provided with cutouts which allow the implement to move close along the vehicle, although this may be provided with projected fronts or other protruding elements.
Such cuts allow the lift system to be used on a very wide range of tractors and other vehicles.
In one aspect of the invention, it relates to the use of a lift system as described above as a front mounted lift on a tractor.
In one aspect of the invention, it relates to the use of a lift system as described above as rear-mounted lift on a tractor.

FIG. Ib is a schematic drawing of a tractor with a lift system according to an embodiment of the invention, viewed from the side in another position, FIG. 1c is a schematic drawing of a tractor with a lift system according to one 5 embodiment of the invention, viewed from the side in a third position, FIG. 2 is a schematic side view of a tractor having a lift system according to another embodiment of the invention; FIG. 3 is a schematic side view of a tractor having a lift system according to a third embodiment of the invention; FIG. 4 is a schematic perspective view of the tractor with a lift system shown in FIG. 3
FIG. 5 is a schematic front view of a tractor with a lift system according to an embodiment of the invention; and FIG. 6 is a schematic drawing of a tractor with a lift system according to another 20 front view of an embodiment of the invention.
Detailed description of the invention
FIG. 1a-1c are schematic drawings of a tractor 1 with a lift system according to an embodiment of the invention, viewed from the side in three different positions. The lift system shown comprises a circular front tank 2, a pair of lift arms 3 and a top bar 4 rotatably mounted to the tractor 1 in a top bar bracket 5. The top bar 4 is provided with a reinforcement 6 for a better distribution of the pulling and compressive forces under use of the lift system.
DK 2017 00192 A1
The drawing further shows a pump 11 for unloading the front tank 2 and an assembly 7 of the belt (not shown), where the top bar 4 is connected to the belt.
Finally, the drawing indicates that there may be one or more cut-outs 10 in the front tank 2 that allow for the pump 11 and that the tank may be provided with piping and hose nozzle 12 for filling and emptying the tank.
FIG. 2 is a side view of a schematic drawing of a tractor 1 with a lift system according to another embodiment of the invention. This embodiment is very similar to that shown in FIG. 1, but, as the drawing indicates, the tank is further provided with a cutout 13 which allows it to move close along the front of the tractor 1 without engaging it.
FIG. 3 and 4 are a schematic side view, respectively, and a perspective view of a tractor 1 with a lift system according to a third embodiment of the invention.
In this embodiment, the implement is a front tank 2 having a square cross section, and the top rod point slides in a guide ring 8 in the form of a profile for controlling the path of the top rod 4, mounted on the side of the front tank 2 facing the tractor 1. Except it is similar in many ways to that shown in FIG. 1 and 2, as described above.
FIG. 5 and 6 are schematic front views of a tractor 1 with a lift system according to two different embodiments of the invention. In both cases, this is a circular front tank 2, but in Figs. 5, there is one centrally located belt running in a sliding bearing 9 in a guide ring 8 around the front tank 2, while in FIG. 6 are two such symmetrically placed bands.
